Catmax a pet project at Eastwood house, Toowoomba
Responsible Cat Ownership was the theme of the open day held at local Toowoomba Vet Clinic, Eastwood House, in April of this year.
Initiated by Catmax, the trade fair was a fun way to provide information for cat owners, local breeders and cat care suppliers. The event featured presentations on grooming, nutrition, cat registration, flea and worming treatments.
Catmax supplied two Catmax Caboodles as temporary housing for cats and kittens seeking adoption. Representatives of Toowoomba Shire Council were on hand to provide information about cat registration, and several Eastwood House Vets were available for cat-related questions.
With the door prize of a luxury cat pack, and a sausage sizzle and stall put on by the RSPCA, cat owners were amply provided for.
Graeme, one of the Eastwood House Vets, proudly showed off photos of his newly-completed, custom built Catmax enclosure, which is accessed by a special ‘cat-shute’ in the kitchen!
